OUR STORY: MASKI THROUGH THE YEARS

A COMMITTED COMPANY

Founded in 1983, the Maski Group has grown rapidly due to the increasing demand for its high quality hardwood components, primarily for cabinet, furniture manufacturers and architectural millworks .

As early as 1988, Maski equipped itself with the first series of kilns. Over the next decade, the company installed a second series of kilns and built its own sawmill, adjacent to the component plant, for complete a vertical integration.

A SOLID NETWORK

Over the years, the group has developed a network of log suppliers in the United States to carefully select the quality of the raw material and to ensure ethical and sustainable harvesting practices.

2002, A YEAR MARKED BY INNOVATION

In 2002, the creation of Driad completed our production line and our product offering. This new company allows us to manufacture and assemble CNC hardwood components.

IN CONTINUOUS DEVELOPMENT

2007, a second hardwood components plant was added to the group: Maski acquired Catawissa Wood and Components, a competitor based in Pennsylvania, USA.

TODAY…

Finally, in 2012, Maski acquired Bois Franc Myrador in Trois-Rivières, a custom hardwood flooring manufacturer specializing in institutional, commercial and high-end projects.

Today, Maski Group employs more than 130 people in three plants, which are at the heart of the company’s success and allows it to be a market leader in hardwood components.
